Joanna Skyes presented her 4th collection at LFW with NEWGEN this year for SS/10. After graduating at Central St.Martin's and also having designed for the likes of Alberta Ferretti and Armani, she already has pieces from her A/W09 collection selling at Matches.com and has been asked to head-up their own label Freda.
I think SKYES will succeed because of it's unique and androgynous tailoring techniques that are also iconic, luxurious and elegant and right now it would do alot of people a wealth of good to invest in something that they will have and wear for a very long time and this label brings just that.
