The Revolution Continues...

Between today and tomorrow (Nov 5th-6th), Nick Knight will be using the Live Studio during 10:00 & 21:00 for a 'fairytale' themed shoot for the February 2010 issue of British Vogue, with model Natalia Vodianova. Vogue fashion director Lucinda Chambers will also be present as-well-as hair stylist Sam McKnight, make-up artist Val Garland and manicurist Marian Newman.

Vodianova will be modelling outfits customised by some of fashions leading designers, which will then be sold at an auction with the proceeds going to charity.

After watching parts of this live showing throughout the day, I appreciate Knight's continuity and willingness to keep the public involved and allowing us a unique insight into the workings of the photographic studio and showing us what really goes on at a Fashion shoot. Will keep tuning onto Showshudio as there will be more to come. This Live Studio space will continue to be used each week by world-renowned fashion image-makers, including Shona Heath, Jason Evans and Simon Foxton, to shoot fashion editorial, portraits and film.

Also included in the live programme of shoots
is a special project initiated by Nick Knight called 100 Portraits which I'm very excited about . Between 1-20 December 2009, Knight will photograph 100 of London's fashionable elite from models and actors to musicians and artists. The portraits from each session will be displayed in a gallery adjacent to the Live Studio at Somerset house and in an upcoming issue of i-D magazine. So if I where you, I'd definitely watch this space - Don't miss out!!

Also check out the NAOMI Exhibition live on Showstudio. You can draw and write messages on her; It's totally cool.
