For AW/11, we see Topshops Campaign covering four key themes previously seen in their lookbook - New Mod, Prim & Polished, Glam underground and Bavaria. This collection pretty much covers all of the season’s catwalk trends, including polka dots as seen at Stella McCartney and Marc Jacobs, abstract floral prints a la` Jonathan Saaunders and faux fur trims from the Gucci runway. It's uber chic and modern with sleek feminine tailoring is inspired by the rebellious fashion of 60s teddyboys; dresses in floral and ditsy prints make up an eclectic dressing-up box of vintage influenced pieces; shaggy coats, faux fur stoles, pom pom detailing and brights bring 70s glamrock back to life and just like Meadham Kirchoff's AW11 show which featured floaty smock dresses, heavy velvets, embroidered yokes and oversized cable knits drawing back on traditional folkloric styles. It a next, super fabulous collection which I will soon start indulging in little by little.
