While Balmain
remains one of my favourite design houses, which their signature cuts and
strong shoulder; this season we saw the return to tradition and Olivier
Rousteing did a great job of pulling all the key elements of heritege and bringing that image back to to life. Showcasing a
fantastic display 'In Colour' of beautiful ballgowns, aysmmetrical and angular
cut silhouettes with stunning detail and I absolutely loved the mix of soft and masculinity in the
styling of the collection which reflects the essence of the Balmain woman in
her full glory. Edgy, strong but effortlessly dressed models that looked like they'd marched off of
the set of a Bond film. There were so many take-aways from this show and something for everyone - All-in-all, it oozed of Modern sophistication and Classic futuristic vibes. Yes, Rousteing did it yet again!
