5 days, a quarter wardrobe, 10 pairs shoes and a suitcase full of accessories later....

Ok, so I admit I've been quiet for a few days. A little bit longer than usual actually - my apologies. Here's why...

Going home is always a very exciting thing especially because my family lives two and a half hours away from me. I know it probably doesn't sound that much far away, but if you don’t get to see them very often it is. I’ve always got a very busy schedule crossing from Uni, work and play. But when time is made, it is in such a way that it must be used to the fullest and very last semi-second as it is always only for a little while and it is crucial that everyone be seen from parents to siblings and their families, friends, aunties, uncles as well as frenemies though when it comes to frenemies the objective is to check their doing not so much better than oneself but just ok (everyone has those). Anywho-o, so escaping from one tight schedule to an even tighter one has to come with confirmation plus re-assurance that all measures have been brought together (that is by myself) and also that I won’t ever have to reach a situation of feeling incomplete and by this I mean having as much as I believe I need (attire wise) including a tight and heavy package of backup baggage. Think: (1) you never know where you're gonna go or end-up or (2) who you're going to bump into, So, 5 days and a quater wardrobe, 10 pairs of shoes and a suitcase full of accessories later, I am now sat here telling you the tale of why I have been quiet for a seemingly so long period of time. I had gone up the North side to catch-up with long lost friends and beloved family which in fact turned out to be a very interesting and exciting trip involving an annoying extra 3 hours on the drive due to blocked motorway a la "bad weather", 3 new pairs of shoes just because I felt like it, 2 drunken nights, a new hair-do and a load of mind boggling goss and drama. What a trip! – a hectic few days it was however, worth the hustle. It was short but sweet and I left whilst people still wanted me to stay which is always a good thing. After a much deserved recess and battle with the internet connection after I got back, I am now sat in my comfy chair giving you a brief run-through on why I had gone awol. I trully plead your compassion.
