Alongside the Dune womens AW/13 Collection was the Men’s
collection which comprised of the
Bertie and Dune Black ranges. Dune black had a bit more formal styles,
sort of smart to evening wear for the more sophisticated, suit wearing modern
day man. They were very polished and clean cut which I liked and could picture
an almost Donald Drapper kind of guy wearing them.
Bertie I very much liked as we well know Im a sucker for
brougue and that’s any kinda stylish brogues, I would even wear a mens shoe
that I liked if they had it in my size as they saying goes ‘It the shoes
fits….’ What was great about these though was the shape and structure of the
shoe itself and jthe fact that there were little quirky interesting features on
them aswell like the bright coloured laces.
Overall I think Dune has a strong Men and Womens
Aw/collection on their hands and most of the shoe styles are on point for next
season in the case of trend and tones. Cant wait to just dive in.
