Converse trainers have been around for as long as I can remember and the Chuck Taylor classics have been the signature of the brand since it established during early 20th Century. Over the years we have seen their designs evolve with new fabrics and additional styles with slight tweaks to the classic itself. There is also now a 'Blank canvas' All white trainer that allows individuals to personalize and design their own style/print which I think is pretty cool and a smart, fun and modern turn for the brand.
When I went to New York a while back I visited their flagship and I was absolutely mesmerized and breathaken by a wall display of Chuck Taylor classics laid-out to represent the American flag in the store. It was like looking at a piece of artwork. I haven't personally visited the London Flagship but I do know they are available in countless stores nationwide.
However, given the many different styles one could choose from the extensive converse range, I like to keep it simple and have narrowed it down to only four personal favorites which can be purchased from the John Lewis store or online.
