I only just realised that Father's Day was on Sunday a couple of days ago and I totally freaked out and every year it's the same reaction from me. I always remember Mother's day, but because Father's day comes a lot later after that I usually know it's coming but almost miss it. Thank God for all the big signs in malls and shops everwhere, stressing about what Sunday the 15th is and immediately after discovering so I made sure I'd got myself covered A.S.A.P by getting the gift there and then. I love my Dad, I trully do and It's times like these that give all of us the opportunity to express and show our most neglected love. When I think of my other siblings - the games begin. It's like a competition to be the favourite and that's when money really gets spent to try and see who's gift out does who's - but just like a mother's love, a fathers' too is just as equal. I'm sure they don't really care how much it costs or how big it is - after all it's the thought that count but whatever! It's not their battle. Most dads only probably ever get gifts three times a year: on their birthday, at Christmas and on Father's Day so I try and make those moments extra special because sometimes actions speak louder than words - so If you can't really splash out for Father's day - you can select or get inspired by this little compilation of gift ideas I've managed to put together to get your juices flowing and hopefully you'll be able to get that purse out a spoil your dad a little. Don't leave it too late - I'm already one step ahead.

Daddy loves his 'lazy Sundays'
For his chilled out Sundays at home, lounging about infront of the telly; controlling the remote, and constant trips to the fridge to get a re-fill of his fav beer whilst watching a bit of footie or a boxing match...this may just be the perfect tool-kit he'll need to set him off for the day.
Daddy's got a thing for bling
Most dad's probably have got just a watch for work/day-to-day use and one for special occasions but he's probably due for an up-grade because you most likely know the watch he wears everyday from before you had a full set of teeth. Why not show him you love him and that its TIME for a change by getting him this lovely 'Accurist' from Ernest Jones for only seven tenners.
If your dad loves shoes just as much as you do and has a great sense of style and taste then this foot candy just the right gift for him...
As for other dads, you know sometimes all they're worried about is their look from the waistline-up so why not show him that just because he's growing old it doesn't mean his sense of style has gotta go too.
